Open Scheduling times and new offerings are available. Please read the following document to learn more about the full range of Workshops available via Edison Online:

Workshop Descriptions

If you cannot make it to the Lee Campus for workshops, please contact ehochmeister@edison.edu to explore the possibility of an online workshop via GoToMeeting.

Two highlights of this schedule:

Study Mate Class Server: StudyMate Class Server allows teachers and students create study materials in a collaborative, web-based environment, all Integrated within CE6 - NO MORE PUBLISHING!
  • Students learn at each step of the process: creating, editing and reviewing items (no more blind memorization of course materials)
  • Instructors can select student-generated questions for use on tests, resulting in "fresh" questions each term
  • "Social learning" fosters peer accountability and makes the course more engaging
  • Student participation can easily be tracked and graded, providing an additional way to assess student knowledge

Edison Online: Open CE6/Training Schedule - by Appointment Only: Open Faculty Training Time. Individual consultations can be scheduled during the allotted hours for CE6 or any other eLearning software. Participants must pre-register online. Registered faculty will receive an e-mail with possible times, topics, and meeting locations.

FAQs from the Edison Online Student Orientation Sessions

Online instructors: The Edison Online Student Orientations were successful and feedback has been positive! We have collected questions asked during the online student orientations given early this semester. A document has been created and posted to the Internet that contains:
  1. A link to the printable and viewable PowerPoint of the Orientation
  2. A link to a recorded version of the Orientation
  3. The frequently asked questions and their answers

Please feel free to post a link to this document in your course so that students who did not attend an orientation may take a look!

Resend: Number of Items on any CE6 Page!

To re-highlight this issue: If you are looking to set the number of items per CE6 Page to "All", such that you do not have to use the "Page" drop down menu, or "Next Page" arrow located at the bottom right hand side of the page, please review the blog entry linked below!
